  1. Organ Concert: An organ concert by organist Erwin Wiereinga from Holland will be held at the parish church on Thursday at 7.15pm. This is being organised on the initiative of The Malta International Organ Festival. Entrance is free.

 

  1. The Diocesan Assembly. The Diocesan Assembly is being held next Friday evening and Saturday morning. The theme will be “Evangelisation and Diaconia. Towards a Pastoral Plan for the Archdiocese”. Let us pray so that the Diocesan Assembly will bear fruit in the Maltese Church’s pastoral work.The Assembly will commence with a Mass led by the Archbishop on the occassion of his fifth anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination at the Mosta Parish Church at 630pm.

 

  1. Feast of Christ the King: On the occassion of the liturgical feast of Christ the King which will be celebrated next Sunday, Archbishop Charles J Scicluna will lead Vespers at 5.00pm at St Venera’s Parish Church followed by an address by the said Archbishop.

 

  1. Bookings for Mass intentions for 2018: All those who wish to offer a Mass during the coming year are to approach Fr Paul as from next weekend.

 

  1. Applications for Entry at Church Schools In the next few weeks applications will be recevied for entry of children at Chruch Schools in September 2018 from employees at Church Schools, those who have siblings attending Chruch Schools and those who attend Church Schools which do not have senior school. Applicants from State and Independent schools may apply in January and February. Further information may be obtained from Church Schools and the curia’s website.

 

  1. Christmas Buffet Dinner. We are organising a Christmas Buffet Dinner on Thursday 7th December at 8pm at the Vivaldi Hotel in order to raise funds for parish. Bookings from the parish office or the Book Centre.
