1. Outing for the elderly: On Tuesday the monthly outing for the elderly will be held. We meet at 8.45am at Spinola or at ta’ Giorni near the College.


  1. Confessions: In preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, on Wednesday from 7.30pm to midnight there will be priests available for confessions (including a priest from outside the parish) as well as time for silent adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Parish Church.


  1. Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows (Friday):
  • Lapsi Church: at 4.30pm there will be an hour of prayer with Our Lady of Sorrows followed by mass at 5.30pm;
  • Immaculate Conception Chapel: at 5.30pm mass will be celebrated;
  • Parish Church: 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Divine Mercy Adoration; 6.30pm: procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows followed by mass.


  1. Married Couples’ Meeting: On Saturday the married couples’ meeting will be held at 7.30pm in Pope John Paul II Hall.


  1. Palm Sunday: On Sunday at 9.30am there will be the children’s mass. Prior to the mass the olive tree branches will be blessed in the carpark near the Parish Church.


  1. Concerts – Sacred Music:
  • On Thursday at 7.30pm, the Amadeus Chamber Choir will be giving a concert for choir and orchestra in the Parish Church.
  • On Saturday at 7.30pm, the St Julian’s Band Club will be giving a concert of Holy Week music at Lapsi Church.


  1. Collection of food items: The Diaconia Commission is currently collecting food items for needy families in our Parish. All food items are to be placed in the baskets in the Parish Church, Lapsi Church and Kuncizzjoni Chapel. We thank you in advance for your help.


  1. Figolli: Next weekend we will be selling home-made figolli outside the Parish Church. Orders for figolli may be placed with the Parish Office.


  1. Prayers for our faithful departed: We pray for Vincenzo Galea, Donovan Ebejer, Maria Portelli, Grazio Borg and Charles Coleiro who entered eternal life during the month of March. Eternal rest give unto them O Lord …
