Parish Notices ST JULIANS PARISH 7th to 8th December 2019



  1. Coffee morning: A coffee morning in aid of the Parish is to be held at the Hall next to the Parish Church on Tuesday from 9.30am onwards.


  1. Retreat: A half-day retreat for Advent is being held on Friday, a national holiday, at the Sisters of St Clare Monastery from 9.30am until 1pm, including Mass.  One can call the parish office to book.


  1. Divine Mercy Adoration: A Divine Mercy Adoration will be held at Lapsi Church on Friday at 3.00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.


  1. Wedding Anniversaries Mass: Married couples who are celebrating their wedding anniversary throughout this month, are invited together with their families to a thanksgiving mass on Sunday at 6.30pm in the Parish Church.


  1. Grupp Ħbiberija – Christmas Lunch: The Diocesan Commission advises that the Christmas lunch will take place on Wednesday 18th December and is open to all Group members. Anyone who wishes to book may do so by calling the parish office until the 16th December.


  1. Diocesan Commission: The Diocesan Commission have prepared a Christmas Tree at the back of the Parish Church where one can collect a ‘Christmas Cracker’ in order to help the needy in our Parish. Contributions may be placed in the baskets placed in our churches.  Thank you for your donations.


  1. Sale of poinsettias and Christmas items: Ponsettias will be available for sale next weekend near the Book Centre, who also sell ornamental items, Christmas related books and Parish cards.


  1. Donations for Albania: Caritas Malta is appealing for your monetary contribution to allow us to help our brothers who lost their houses and families following the earthquake.  Help is needed urgently and Caritas has set up a fund for this aim.  More details are available on the Caritas website.


  1. Transport for blood donations: The council is offering transport for blood donors for those who need it during the blood donation day on the 14th December. One can contact the council for more information.
