PARISH NOTICES ST JULIAN’S PARISH 21st to 22nd August 2021

  • St Julian’s Feast Programme 
  • Wednesday: The 7pm Mass will have the participation of the parish’s children and will include the investiture of 11 new altar servers, followed by a short concert.
  • Thursday:  The 7pm Mass will be organised by the Diaconia Commission  and is a special mass for St Julians senior residents.  The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will also be administered during the mass.
  • Friday: During the 7pm mass, Fr Marco Portelli will be celebrating his 25th anniversary of his Ordination.  The parish commissions and groups are also invited to participate.
  • Saturday: At 6.30pm the translation of the relic of St Julian and will be followed by a mass.  There will also be mass at 8pm at the parish church.
  • Sunday: Mass times will be like every weekend.   The Mass for the feast St Julian will be celebrated during the 7pm evening Mass, led by HE Mons Joseph Galea Curmi, together with the parish clergy, and will be animated by the Amadeus Chamber Choir.   The Mass will be concluded by the Antiphone of St Julian and the Hymn of St Julian.
  • Street decorations:  Although the feast is going to be celebrated inside the church, the parish has still taken care to decorate the church environs as you will be noticing the decorations in the area.
  • Collection: We would like to thank you for all the food items that have been donated so far.  The hampers will be donated to the needy families this week by the Diaconia Commission, as well as meals that have been sponsored by parish benefactors.
