- Ġabra għall-Iskejjel tal-Knisja: Kif avżajnikom il-ġimgħa li għaddiet, il-ġbir kollu li jsir fil-quddies ta’ dan il-weekend se jmur għall-Fond tal-Iskejjel tal-Knisja. Bħal kull sena, qiegħdin nappellaw għall-ġenerożità tagħkom biex l-iskejjel tal-Knisja f’Malta jkunu jistgħu jkomplu jaqdu u jġibu ’l quddiem il-missjoni tagħhom li jedukaw eluf ta’ tfal u żgħażagħ.

- Assemblea Djoċesana: L-Assemblea Djocesana din is-sena se ssir nhar il-Ħamis u l-Ġimgħa. L-Assemblea hi parti mill-proċess ta’ tiġdid fl-Arċidjoċesi Knisja Waħda Vjaġġ Wieħed, u se ssir b’rabta mal-mixja sinodali fil-Knisja kollha. Nitolbu biex tħalli ħafna frott fil-ħidma pastorali tal-Knisja f’Malta.
- Sunday Lunch: Nhar il-Ħadd 3 ta’ Diċembru fin 1230pm sa norganizzaw ikla fis-sala tal-konferenzi b’risq ir-restawr li dejjem għaddej fil-Knisja ta’ Lapsi. Biljetti mill-helpers ta’ Lapsi.
- Tberik: Infakkrukom fl-istedina għat-tberik għas-sena 2024. Min jixtieq li nżuru d-dar tagħkom hu mħeġġeġ li jibagħtilna l-formola li bgħatna sa l-aħħar tax-xahar jew l-uffiċju jew lil xi ħadd minna.
- Kunċert annwali tal-Milied: Amadeus Chamber Choir jixtiequ javżaw li l-kunċert annwali tal-Milied “A Prelude to Christmas” bl-orkestra, kor u solisti se jsir hawnekk fil-Knisja nhar il- 21 ta’ Dicembru fis-7:30pm. Dan il-kuncert se jsir b’risq Puttinu Cares Foundation u biljetti jistgħu jinkisbu mill-book shop ta’ ma ġenb il-knisja. Titilfux din l-opportunita’ li tgawdu minn mużika u kant mill-aqwa f’dan iż-żmien sabiħ tal-Milied.
- Collection for Church schools: As notified last week, all collections this weekend will be made for the Church School Fund. The Church in Malta is appealing to your generosity so that it can continue in its education of thousands of children and youths.
- Admission to Church Schools: The rules for admission into church schools for 2024/5 have been published. More information on the notice board or from www.church.mt.
- Diocesan Assembly: This year’s Diocesan Assembly will be held on Thursday and Friday. The Assembly is part of a renewal process in the Archdiocese One Church, One Journey, and is going to be held as part of the synodal process in the universal Church. Let us pray so that the assembly leaves the desired fruit.
- Buffet Lunch: On Sunday 3rd December at 1230pm we will be organising a buffet lunch at the Conference Hall. Proceeds will go towards the restoration fund which is always being undertaken at Lapsi Church. Tickets from the helpers of Lapsi Church.
- Family visits: We remind you about the invitation for family visits 2024. Those wishing us to visit them are encouraged to send the form you received at home back to us by the end of November. One can return this to the office or to one of us.
- Annual Christmas Concert: The Amadeus Chamber Choir would like to advise that the annual ‘Prelude to Christmas’ concert including the orchestra, choir and soloists will be held here in Church on the 21st December at 7.30pm. This concert will be in aid of the Puttinu Cares Foundation and tickets will be available from the bookshop. Don’t miss this concert to enjoy the best Christmas music and songs.
